The development of teaching and learning modules is very necessary to support learning,
especially science subjects. Learning that contains content about nature is certainly more effective if carried out using a contextual approach or real context. This mta-analyze study aims to analyze the level of validity and practicality of developing contextually based science modules. The study search was carried out between 2017 and 2023 on the Google Scholar database. The search result yielded the studies that had similarities that could be analyzed from a valid and practical perspective. The result of the research found that the validity level of developing contextually based science modules in the material aspect was 0.90 in the valid category, in the media aspect 0.87 in the valid category, and in the language aspect 0.89 in the valid category. The level of practicality of educators is 0.82 in the very high category and the practicality of students in 0.86 in the veru high category. The contextual-based science module developed is categorized as valid and very practical so that it can be used in the science learning process.
