Bibliometric Analysis of Technology-Based Learning Research in School Learning

The increasingly rapid development of information technology in the current era of globalization can no longer be avoided and its influence on the world of education. Global demands require the world of education to always adapt technological developments to efforts to improve the quality of education, especially adjusting the use of information and communication technology for the world of education, especially in the learning process. This research aims to determine the role of technology in the world of education. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The database used to collect information related to this research is the Google Scholar database. Database search and analysis using Publish or Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer software. Educational technology is the application of scientific knowledge to learning so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently, which is not only limited to tools and goods or hardware (hadware) but also software and brainware. In the development and utilization of learning technology there are still three basic principles, namely: 1) Systems approach, 2) Learner-oriented, 3) Utilizing learning resources as maximally and as varied as possible (utilizing learning resources). The study results illustrate that educational technology has a very crucial role in learning. So it could be said that educational innovations, educational technology, are an inseparable unit.
