Abstract

This research aims to improve science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN 2 Mapin Rea using the Project-Based-Learning (PjBL) model. Classroom Action Research in this research uses 2 action cycles, each cycle contains stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 20 class IV students at SDN 2 Mapin Rea, with details of 9 male students and 11 female students. The research instrument is an objective test used to collect data on cognitive learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, 60% of students completed their studies, while in cycle II it increased to 85%. So, this PjBL learning model can be tried if researchers want to improve student learning outcomes. Further research can be carried out on other materials or other subjects.
