Abstract

This study aims to identify students’ and teachers’ perceptions of the development of an ICT-based e-module to enhance learning outcomes in Technology and Informatics (TIK) subjects at SMAN 1 Katingan Hilir. The research employed a descriptive method as part of the Analysis phase in the ADDIE development model. The respondents consisted of 30 grade XI students and 4 teachers (two ICT teachers, one general subject teacher, and one school principal). Quantitative data were obtained through a needs analysis questionnaire consisting of 15 closed-ended items using a Likert scale, while qualitative data were collected through open-ended questions. The results showed that students had a positive perception (mean = 2.88), while teachers had a moderately positive perception (mean = 2.76) toward the development of ICT-based e-modules. Qualitative findings revealed that students experienced learning barriers related to internet access and limited computer facilities, while teachers highlighted contextual differentiation and practical features as priorities for development. The study concludes that ICT-based e-modules need to focus on visual interactivity, offline accessibility, and clarity of instructional guidance to enhance learning engagement and effectiveness.
